The client felt that the Meadow Healing site had become outdated, difficult to use and no longer reflected the character of MeadowSpirit Healing or the breadth of her work. The website is built on an older Squarespace 7.0 template, which offers limited design flexibility, particularly for mobile layouts. With a limited budget for rebuilding the site in Squarespace 7.1, the challenge was to make the most of the existing website rather than starting again.
I used custom CSS and carefully considered content changes to give the site a more contemporary and engaging feel. Typography, spacing and imagery were improved to make pages easier to read and allow the beautiful visual material to play a much stronger role.
The website structure and content was reviewed from an SEO and user perspective. Clearer headings, better page structures, and considered user journeys help search engines understand the content. Meta titles, descriptions improve how the websites appear in search results.
An e-commerce shop will be added for Liz' Sacred Sites book and tarot card deck.
